Competitive sport has always been a strong feature of life at St. Philip’s, and all boys take part at their own level of ability.

Boys are taken by coach two afternoons per week to Barn Elms for football, rugby, cricket, hockey and athletics in due season.

There is weekly swimming with formal coaching at Fulham Pools.

First team and under-eleven fixtures against other schools in cricket, rugby and football have produced a rich heritage of triumph and disaster, but always interest.
